Rungwe Vocational Training School

Rungwe Vocational Training is started 1902 by the missionary from Germany. The main purpose was to train people how to read, write and Counting and simple arithmatic. More than that they taught the students life skills so as to know how to deal with the normal life in their area. Currently the school has 185 students who learn Motor vehicle mechanics, tailoring, Domestical Electrical Installation and Carpentry and Joinery. The school is owned by Moravian Church Tanzania Southern Province, The head office is Rungwe Mission the foot of Mount Rungwe.

Existing cooperations

1. We have a project of supporting basic hand tools to the graduate in each year.
2. Rehabilitation of school building since it has rehabilitated more than 40 years ago.
3. Extend a new campus at Sogea for providing highlevel technical training.
