Colégio Martinus builds Bridges to Mozambique

In order to promote Leadership, High School students*, together with the Directive and Pedagogical Team and Marketing Department, realized the Bridges for Mozambique Project, which was an “Action among Friends” whose prize draw was a basket of products for Mother’s Day. All the amount collected from the sale of the Action, summing up R$ 4.536,00, was donated to the people in need in Mozambique, affected by the cyclone Idai.

The entire school got together for the common purpose, experiencing cooperation in practice. Initiatives like this, according to the leaders, must be given continuity with future projects, always with the intention of providing well-being to the poorest ones.

“It was very outstanding to know that we are helping those people who are in trouble after such a huge tragedy, even if they are so far away from us.” (Thomas Oelke)

The following students participated in the project: Roberta Yumi Watanabe de Lima, Fernando Werner, Tobias Perkowski, João Pedro Teter, Thomas Oelke, Thaíssa Perussi, Maria Luiza Dal Negro, Arthur Lima Appelt, Lívia Ullrich e Vitória Klinger.
