The college of New Bell is a secondary school in Douala/Cameroon which counts more than 4.000 students. The school offers a vocational branch as well.
It has been founded in 1988 in one of the poorest neighborhoods of the city of Douala, where poverty and crime have made their bed (that’s why it is in this neighborhood that is the famous Central Prison). The majority of neighborhood population is Moslem. Now, the college of New Bell is one of the largest protestant secondary schools in Cameroon, run by the Evangelical Church of Cameroon.
