Presbyterian Comprehensive High School (PCHS) Kumbo was founded in 1986 by the Presbyterian Church In Cameroon (PCC). Prior to this period, the school was owned and run by a private individual (the Late Pa Saka) as Bui College of General Education (BCGE).
PCHS Kumbo is a coeducational christian school of the PCC which provides a moral comprehensive education to Cameroonians between the ages 10 years to 19 years. Despite its christian structure, the school has maintained an open do policy to students of diverse religious background in a community that pro Roman Catholic and increasingly Islamized.

Existing cooperations

The school has had several cooperations in the past. Currently the school cooperates with the Pedagogic In-Service Cameroon and Millet College, Netherlands.
