International work camp: build with us the Education Pavilion in Wittenberg!

Four months of exchange about the Reformation – that is the World Reformation Exhibition in Wittenberg this summer and schools500reformation is right at the middle. The Education Pavilion, organized by the project team, will be built on a nice green spot right behind the Castle Church. Young people from around the world have the opportunity to help with the construction by participating in an international work camp. Together with local artisans, the participants will be laying floors for the café area, seating for the audience area, as well as painting and building chairs and tables for the café area. In addition, they will cast a net for plants to grow along, and planting and earthing work will be carried out at the same time. The finished Pavilion will be the “home base” of schools500reformation over the summer and host millions of visitors.

Don’t miss the opportunity and register now for the schools500reformation work camp. Spend an unforgettable time with young people from different countries: build the Education Pavilion, cook together and explore the Reformation city and surroundings during your free time.

The work camp will take place from 25 March until 12 April 2017 in Wittenberg, Germany. The 18 participants should be between 16 and 26 years old. Please note that each participant will have to pay an amount of €80 (eighty euros). It is organised by the German organization “ijgd” working together with partner organisations in other countries. If you are interested in participating and if you do not come from Germany please check out here which partner organisation is responsible for you in your country.
