Une année s’est écoulée depuis la rencontre à Wittenberg de centaines d’élèves, professeurs et amis du monde éducatif protestant, venus du monde entier pour célébrer la foi, l’amitié et la solidarité internationale, et pour transformer le projet lié à l’anniversaire de la Réforme, „schools500reformation“ en un projet plus pérenne, le „Global Pedagogical Network – Joining in Reformation“.
Depuis lors, une centaine d’écoles, universités et organismes du monde éducatif protestant se sont ajoutés et ont décidé de suivre ce mouvement mondial en adhérant au réseau GPENRéformation. Il y a actuellement 709 membres du réseau, représentant le grand nombre et la variété des établissements éducatifs de tradition protestante. Mais au-delà des différences nationales, culturelles, dénominationnelles et linguistiques, ce qui les rend tous uniques est le trait commun qu’ils partagent : inspirés par l’Esprit et les bénédictions de Dieu, ce sont des communautés d’espérance qui aident des milliers de personnes du monde entier à développer leur capacité à contribuer à leur société, et ainsi à jouer un rôle constructif dans un monde globalisé.
