The EU-funded project “Schools joining up for Communities of Peace” will run until August 31, 2022. Six places that symbolise conflict, reconciliation and peace have been identified by schools in Hungary, Slovakia, Ireland and Germany over the past three years, visited and made tangible by means of digital tours – even from a distance. Together they form the “EduMaP – Education makes Peace!”, an online map.
And that’s not all: an e-book explains how teachers can guide their students to explore their own places, prepare them for digital tours and add them to the EduMaP.
Both the handbook and the EduMaP will be presented during a video conference on August 23, 2022 from 4 to 5:30pm CEST.
