Protestant Education in Times of the COVID-19 Pandemic
The Pedagogic In-service Training Programme – ISTP Cameroon and Draufsicht Bamenda produced a short film on preventive measures for COVID-19. This has been realized with Children from our Early Childhood Centre and Primary school in Bamenda.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the spread of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 a pandemic, a worldwide expansion of the disease COVID-19, which has an impact on the lives of many people.
Many members of the GPENreformation network are also affected: Schools and universities have been closed – first in China and now worldwide; distance learning is taking place instead. Events have been cancelled or take place digitally. There are contact bans and curfews; people worldwide only leave their homes for essential reasons and work from the home office.
Especially in such difficult times, global cohesion and solidarity are of great importance.
Let us think about each other! Let us learn from and with each other! Let us pray for and with each other! Let us overcome this crisis together!
