Week of Hope for Students
The Week of Hope took place from October 4 to 8, 2021. Students from Protestant schools from grade 4 primary school to high school were encouraged to produce videos of up to 8 minutes in length reporting how they sowed hope during the complex time of the pandemic.
In total, 20 schools from four countries (Brazil, Argentina, Rwanda and the Philippines) participated. You can find their contributions at the bottom of this page.
On October 7 and 8, the schools met in video conferences at three different times and discussed about the videos they had recorded. In doing so, they emphasised the importance of sowing hope in the school or regional community during this complex time.
In total, around 600 students and their teachers participated in the programme.
