The school is owned by EAR Cyangugu Diocese. It started in 2011 with four sections/trades: Carpentry, Masonry, Tailoring and Hand craft. The main objective was to empower the youth with technical skills and help them get jobs or be self-employed. The school enrollment for 2011 is 106 with the ratio of boys to girls being 3:2.
Existing cooperations
The school is accredited by Workforce Development Authority (WDA) which works under the Ministry of education. Some of the trainees are sponsored by Rwanda Aid.
