EAR Cyangugu Diocese has started up several projects among which is Murangi farm training centre. Murangi farm training centre is developed on land that was provided by the Rwandan government to the church in 1996. This was in an effort of the Government to provide agricultural technical assistance, increase agricultural production and delivering veterinary services to the community members.
The Agrovet school is presently being financed by the Anglican Church Cyangugu Diocese.
The School is located in Ruzizi Kamembe sector, Rusizi District, Western province and has a surface area of 8 hectares. It started operating in 1996 shortly after Genocide. The school has trained over 700 trainees since its establishment.
