LTS-Woodpecker is a Lutheran Theological Seminary owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Botswana. It is the only theological institution of the Church where the Church trains its Pastors, Deaconesses, Evangelists/Preachers, Congregational Workers and Youth leaders in theological studies and leadership skills of congregational management. The Seminary offers training to Church Workers at Certificate and Diploma levels of education. There are also Bible schools that run once every year, as well as it offers private tutors to individual scholars who studie in other universities or colleges in the country or outside. Occasionally, the Seminary runs as lodging centre or guest house to other Church groups, individuals and Government groups.
