Thank you for your understanding.

The history of Gymnasium Andreanum dates back to the 13th century. In the course of the Reformation in Hildesheim the school re-invented itself as a Protestant school in 1544, based on Philipp Melanchton’s concept of the role of Evangelical schools in society. It is here that the origins of the school’s tradition of focussing on the Classics and the fine arts can be found. Today Gymnasium Andreanum is a renowned secondary school under the aegis of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover. The school offers its students a wide range of educational opportunities.
