Good News Lutheran College is one of 86 Lutheran schools throughout Australia. Whilst many Lutheran schools came into existence shortly after the first German Lutheran settlers arrived here in 1836, our College’s history goes back to 1997. Good News Lutheran College is committed to providing each child with a thorough grounding in the Christian faith and helping them relate Christian values to their daily lives. Staff also provide a high standard of instruction in all secular subjects. We encourage a strong sense of self-worth, along with respect for others, whilst fostering the God-given gifts and abilities of each of our students. Our school is now home to almost 700 students from Prep to Year 11. Year 12 will be added in 2016 and we anticipate our enrolment to be between 1200 and 1500 students in the next eight years. We are looking forward to 2017 when we will not only celebrate our 20th anniversary but also the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s posting of the 95 theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg.
