Dear Friends,
My name is Godrick E. Lyimo, a pastor from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT). I belong to the ELCT–Northern Diocese that is located in the Northern part of Tanzania on the slope of Mountain Kilimanjaro. I was ordained to be a pastor in 2008. I’m a holder of a Bachelor of Divinity from Makumira University College (MUCo), Bachelor of Education – Arts from Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo) in Tanzania, Master’s degree in Intercontexual Theology from Oslo University (UIO) and Master in Multicultural and International Education from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA) in Norway. I have published two books namely: Indigenous and Modern Counseling For Secondary Schools in Tanzania and Empowerment and Autonomy of Women in Tanzania. Currently, I’m the Head Teacher at Agape Lutheran Junior Seminary in Tanzania.

GPENreformation is very important to me because it connects students and teaching staff globally. Through GPEremation students and teachers from protestant schools and colleges can share different talents and experiences which are useful to promote peace and conducive environment for teaching and learning activities.

I believe GPENreformation will have positive impact to the schools owned by protestant churches in my region by promoting provision of quality education. Teachers and students from our schools will get the opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge from other schools from different parts of the world. Pedagogical workshops and seminars run by GPENreformation will impart vital knowledge and experiences to our teachers and students which will improve the quality of education in our schools.
