Akuse Presbyterian Junior High School was established on 1st September, 1994. The school has a population of about 200 pupils and 13 teachers including the headteacher. It has six classrooms, staff common room and an office. The school lacks some basic facilities like computer and laboratories. One major problem of pupils in the school is pupils being under single parents and some are orphans so find it difficult to make ends meet and come to school.
